Today marks a significant milestone as RSL, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry , officially signed an MOU to implement the Plastic Levy—a powerful initiative to combat plastic pollution and safeguard our planet.

Commissioner General Mrs. ‘Mathabo Mokoko highlighted that this partnership represents a pivotal moment in our collective fight against one of the most pressing environmental challenges: plastic pollution. She emphasized the urgent need for decisive action, noting the devastating impact of plastic waste on ecosystems and human health.

The Hon. Letsema Adont’si reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to this initiative, stressing that implementing the plastic levy will promote sustainable alternatives, and significantly reduce plastic waste.
